Intern Work

BenZouMedia is a startup media company that launched on August 19, 2023, and it was created by Ben Zou. The goal of this company is to give a platform to creatives to produce content as well as protect the ideas of creatives. I would love for this company to become a place for people who grew up watching YouTube and Movies to say that they can do that too. It does not matter what creative outlet interests you whether that be Photography, Videography, Event Planning/Hosting, Directing, Screenwriting, Stage Management, Costume, Lighting/Sound Design, Producer, App Designer, Graphic Designer, Cooking, Tattooing etc. BenZouMedia is the place for you to prosper and grow.  "If you can see it on a TV then we can help you with it"

Requirements

• Applicant must be currently enrolled in college with a major or minor in filmmaking, communications, marketing, journalism or related fields

• Recent graduates who completed their degree in the following fields are also welcome to apply

• Applicant must be at least 18+

• Good communication and teamwork skills (required)

• Experienced or knowledgeable in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (recommended)

• Good work ethics and punctuality (recommended)

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and other editing Software (recommended)

• Detail-oriented and Reliable

• Google Docs, Sheets, and Excel (recommended)

• Work is remote and incredibly flexible. 

• Creative and Highly Motivated (recommended)

• Work hours depend on the individual schedule 

• Minimum 2 hours per week. Additional hours will be appreciated 

• Tasks will be assigned and then will be given at least 24 hours before they need to be completed.

• Coding Skills in HTML, Java, and other coding languages  (preferred)

• Looking for people who will not say “No” but instead will say “How do I solve this issue what can I do to get it to work or what needs to be done before I can do this”

Responsibilities

• The intern will help promote social media content.

• The intern will help with budgeting and funding.

• The intern will help with phone calls and emails.

• The intern will help with storyboarding and ideas.

• The intern will help on set if needed.

• The intern will assist staff with tasks such as marketing, editing, planning, and other things.

Benefits

• This is an unpaid position at the moment. This position can become paid if the intern demonstrates excellence and consistent help throughout their duration of interning. This position will help them gain experience in the industry as well as experience in the behind-the-scenes industry. The intern will gain a lot of experience running a social media account as well as developing their overall skills in marketing, editing, planning, and other aspects.
